July's full moon is named Buck Moon, as this was the time that Bucks (male deer) began to grow their antlers. A spurt of growth, vitality, and strength along with qualities of softness, quickness, silence and stillness. This Buck Moon and the 3 days leading up to it, were chosen to pilot SOMA festival. A field of play surrounded by sea, sand and river where the invitation is to come move and be moved. Bring yourselves to explore the qualities of Buck moon, through Movement Arts. Come grow your Antlers. Come play. We will culminate with a Buck Full Moon party on the 16th.
